DM Automation Policy
Last updated: June 1, 2026
LinkEase helps creators send money-link replies through official platform integrations (e.g. the Instagram Graph API). To stay safe for creators, recipients, and platforms, the following rules apply.
Only user-initiated triggers
LinkEase automations only respond after a real user action — for example a comment on your post, a DM, a story reply, or an opt-in. We do not support cold messaging strangers who have not interacted with you.
What is not allowed
- Cold DMs to people who haven't interacted with you
- Scraped contacts, scraped follower lists, or imported lead lists
- Follower scraping of any kind
- Password sharing — we never ask for your Instagram or TikTok password
- Browser bots, headless browsers, or unofficial APIs
- Bulk spam, repeated identical messages, or message flooding
- Misleading offers, deceptive pricing, or fake testimonials
Platform compliance
Creators are responsible for complying with Instagram, TikTok, Meta, and any other connected platform's rules — including their messaging windows (such as Instagram's 24-hour messaging window), rate limits, and policies on promotional content.
Recipient protection
Recipients must have a clear way to stop or avoid unwanted messages (replying STOP, blocking the sender, or using the platform's native controls). Creators must respect those signals.
Enforcement
LinkEase may throttle, pause, block, or permanently disable automations or accounts that violate this policy. Severe or repeated violations may result in suspension and reporting to the connected platform.
